OK, so, it's Sunday and the folks at AVL are taking a well-deserved rest after delivering my 24/24 WDL ... but the gosh darn CompuDobby III keeps lifting harness 24 even if the lift plan doesn't tell it to. (I'm using WeavePoint software from AVL, on an older PC, so it actually has a serial port -- yay for old tech). Any weekenders with suggestions? I've tried rotating the little head inside the black box 180 degrees, and all the harnesses' cables look the same as #24's, so I'm at a loss ... the troubleshooting page mentions a "Berkley snap", but I've no idea which part that might be, and google didn't help identify it (unless I want to go fishing...apparently it's a common part for fishermen to purchase).
I have emailed the AVL folks, so I expect they'll get back to me early in the week, but still, ya'know, you just want these things to work when you have time to play with them ;-) well, at least I didn't put the warping wheel together yet, so I have some distractions to work with there.
