rigidheddlewea… (not verified)

Wow, wow, wow. I have a 4S 6T loom also and sometimes feel so limited as to what I can create. I've added string heddles on a stick just behind the reed, in the past, which worked out pretty good. I'll have to check into the long eye heddles...any chance you'll share the draft for these pillows? They're fantastic!

Threadsz (not verified)

The long-eyed heddles I used for this loom were made by hand.  This allowed me to "pick up" the pattern using a wide stick and treadle a tabby in between. I was able to save some of the patterns at the back of the loom with half-heddles threaded on dowels. The threading pattern is a monksbelt overshot.

I'm glad you like this project. It was a fun project to do.

Notes

This project was based on a woven vest fabric my mother had woven years ago for a Lithuanian folk costume.  The pick-up was accomplished using long-eyed heddles.
