I'm a new weaver and would love to make these towels.  Your colors are almost perfect for my kitchen.  The red will be changed to coral or brick though.  :-)  I understand the threading, but what is the tie up.  Is the pattern in a book somewhere, please?  Thanks so much!  Your towels are an inspiration!  Lydia in Texas (so much yarn, so little time)

Notes

A fun project featuring 2/10 merc cotton in colours that would compliment the newer stainless steel kitchen appliances people are buying nowadays.

simple threading (1,2,3,4    1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8.    5,6,7,8)  Treadled the same

16 end repeat, sett 28 epi.

You can make the blocks larger or smaller ... and just play.   This would be great with a multi coloured warp and weft. Looks way more complex than it really is.
