 Hello houseboat,

you where very busy at weaving class. It looks very good!I  And using it for bookmark is a delightful idea!

I know this pattern as "monks belt"  (Munkabälte) - I think it`s the same(?) and did it in the variation with rye straw or paperyarn for a tablerunner. Maybe with another Material you will become a fan!!

Fourth semester weaving class protocol was overshot.  Not being a big fan, I decided to do a small final project and get it over with but ended liking it enough that I did a whole series of bookmarks in different colorways.  Gave all but one away so am including one picture of an actual piece and a picture of some colorway drafts.
