Hi all, I've been looking at drafts on Handweaving.net for inspiration. There is more than enough and I've stepped back a little to let my brain rest.

Happy weaving all.

I purchased the inkle weaving introduction class on Saturday and can not find access to it.  I sent a message to the webmaster but am still waiting for reply.  Can anyone point me in the right direction on whre I might find the class, or who I should contact?

Thanks,

Tammy

Hello, I am new to the current form of Weavolution but am here to ask for info for a student.  She has a 48” Dick Blick Artcraft floor loom, 4 shaft, 6 treadles.  She is thinking of selling and wondering about pricing.  So far I have not turned up much on these looms.  Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,

Jenny

I am completely unfamiliar with these looms. I would suggest you post in one of the house groups or the Coffee Shop/Chat group. That will reach a broader audience and get your question in the site feed, so lots of peop.e will see it. Good luck!

I have been working on making the mallions for my next damask project. These are going to be a game changer. These lovely mallions come from Vavstuga. I have 200 to put together. I'm almost half way there! :)

Right now I am working on tuning my Öxabäck Lilla. I bought it used and it’s a real learning curve since I’ve always owned jack looms. Can’t wait to get my first project going!

Joanne Hall's book on tying up a countermarche loom may lessen the learning curve.

I have her books, as well as The Big Book of Weaving, and also the intro from Woolgatherers. Sometimes there are too many sources to learn from!  There was also the situation that only four of the eight shafts had been installed, so I have been playing with additional Texsolv Cord, etc. Have found the Top o' the lamms approach to tying up, and so far I am getting really close to getting a real shed. Thanks checking with me!

Not sure what "The top of the lamms" method is.  Joanne has several books out; the one pertinent to your project is Tying up the countermarche loom.  I have 20+ attachments on my countermarche looms.  Much easier.

teacatweaver

I think they’re the same. It’s working like a charm.

sandra.eberhar…

Do you have a 20+ panel at the back of the loom?  The 20+  attachment moves th tie up to this panel.

Is there a tutorial somewhere on how to navigate the forum?
