Hi all,

This group is great, just what I was looking for.  I have a Baby Wolf, 4 harness and a Tools of the Trade 8 harness which I am not enjoying very much.  I love my 26", 4 harness loom and would love to learn more about the various possibilities for different, complex weave structures on this loom.

I have found weave alongs to be the best way to learn.  With everyone working on a similar weave structure, so much information emerges from our individual experiences.  We can use whatever yarn we have on hand rather than spend money on more, and have an open forum for discussion right here.

I believe the moderator of this group, silverwheelyarn, mentioned a weave along about a month ago.  Are there any firm plans for this?  Any thoughts, ideas, about going forward.

I look forward to hearing from everyone on this topic.  I hope we can get a weave along started here.

I would really like to join a "weave along".  I have a Baby Wolf loom and a 4h LeClerc. What a great way to learn new techniques and support to keep going on our weaving project.

I saw a WAL mentioned in the first group notes but the moderator has not reappeared.  I sent her a PM but have not heard back from her.  I am leading the WAL for log cabin on a rigid heddle loom in the rh group and don't feel qualified to lead one here.

Time to approach some others.

There sure is.  Since there is so much interest, I will have the pattern and sample completed and the sign ups started on Saturday the 7th.  I look forward to meeting and working with everyone!

October is such a busy month and I have been on a business trip and unable to reply.  Sign-up will start Saturday.  I hope to see you there.

That's excellent.

I have one question, who are you?  what is your real name?  I read the "About us" on your blog but don't know which of the three of you are here.  Would you mind telling us a little bit about yourself?

Thanks,

Claudia
