Beautiful! Is this the same thread that was fluffing and pilling like crazy that you showed me before? It seems to work beautifully with your rigid heddle. I guess it must be string heddle abrasion that was causing it.

Thank you! No, it's another cotton yarn I've got in my stash. The other pilling one was a special offer from a supermarket round the corner. But I didn't give up the other project. I bought a nylon yarn and will try this as string heddles, hoping the abrasion will be less.

I saw a Jostenband from East Prussia on Anneliese Bläse's website with the name "Halber Brunnen" (half fountain) and this gave me the idea to the band and it's name "Viertel Brunnen" (quarter fountain). I am not quite sure, what I will do with the band after finishing... maybe it will get part of an apron I like to make for spinning.

The band is finished and it really will get the waistband for an apron.
