i am warping a 5 yard 36 inch wide warp of 10/2 cotton on a reel. this is only the 2nd warp i have put on this reel, and the first one this long and wide. i have watched people on youtube do it, and i am being careful not to overlap threads as i wind. i took the warp off halfway through, and started another bout, but i was wondering if i could have just smushed the part that i had already wound together, and made more room for me to neatly wind the rest. then i would only have had to do this once. sounds lazy. what do you think?
