I have a malfunctioning Combby - mechanical, not electronic. The electronics work fine, but the spring at the front of the box, just behind the metal screen has come loose and seems broken 9 probably work hardened. I really need a manual for the dobby, but advice from a user would help. Schacht has not supported them for years, so they have no info for me.

I believe that the Schacht dobby was from AVL. I would contact them. They seem to be supportive of older equipment.

I know this is an old post but if you are still looking for the instructions, I have a copy. I am missing a part on my own Combby after moving and that is the part that holds the jack mechanism down. I would love a picture or measurements so I could make a new one. I believe it is 2 strips of wood screwed to 2 short strips of wood to make an open shallow box. This is put together around the jack mechanism to get it out of the way. Thanks.
