Hi Cathy,

This looks great!  Are you one of the organizers?  I see it's the 2nd year, how exciting.  I am going to be in that part of the US in September.  It's too bad, our trip is all booked so I cannot change anything.  I wish I could join you.

This would be a great place to wear Weavolution name tags.

Have a good day!

Hi Claudia

It's too bad you'll miss the Southwest Fiber Festival.   But there are two things in September if you're going to be in Arizona.  Tucson Handweavers & Spinners Guild meets on Wednesday, Sept. 23 at 9:30 am in midtown, and our Porrey Cross Study Group on Friday, Sept 11 at 10am, at a member's home.  At both meetings we'll be discussing summer activities.  And at Porrey Cross we'll be setting up a "New-to-me-Fiber" project for the coming year.  We'd love to have you join us for either event.  Just let me know and I'll supply directions.

I wonder if we coud get permission to borrow the logo for name tags?

I won't be there but I think a name tag we could print from out computers would be good.

Simple tags like:

WEAVLUTION [LOGO]

AKA (real name): Franco Rios

Have a good day!

 Name Tags Update!

Okay group here's the update from Claudia, one of the founders.  I'll need your help with this.

We have the okay to use the Copyrighted name and logo.  We have permission to make nametags as long as we use the file provided to us from Weavolution.  So, that means we need to determine what Avery tag style we would like to use.  Then I'll have the file, and will print a name tag for everyone to pick up when we have our meetup at the Festival.

        So Here's what we need.

        1.  A suggestion for what Avery tag to use.  Could someone go to avery.com and tell us what size and blank number we should use for the nametags? and,

        2.  Many of you have been to this venue before.  We need suggestions where we can meet for an hour.  Shade would be nice and some seating.  We will be provided either a banner or a flag from Weavolution for this event.  Any other ideas about the meetup would be welcomed, too.

        3.  As an aside, CafePress has Weavolution stuff to purchase, if you wish to do so.

What else would you like to do?  What time do you want to meet?  Ideas!  Ideas!   Ideas!

Janice
