M plans to get my Acadian tea towels hemmed and wet finished this weekend has not happened. I have managed to either warp or weave everyday this week but that is making more projects, not finishing any UFOs? Hoping the rest of you are doing better than me!

Slowly.....am in the midst of a 6-night work week (12 hour shifts) and it leaves little time for anything but sleep, feeding critters-myself included and getting ready for work. I almost started threading warp for log cabin towels, then looked at the clock on the wall....Oops, time to go to work! Perhaps I"ll start that in the morning while unwinding from being on duty. I can still count one, two, three, four and after each inch or so, put two threads of the same color beside each other-I think~!

Also need to borrow a sewing maching to hem the towels just off the loom. Wash a fleece and start some natural dyeing. I want to weave a coverlet with madder dyed handspun and natural linen warp. Need to put the madder root to soak......

Where can I find a cloning machine?? Any recommendations?

the sewing machine.  I walk past my pile of UFOs to get to the loft to weave every day.  I would just rather weave than sew, which is why I am here in this group!  I keep telling myself to go and hem something, yet I go to the loft instead.  I am going to try to be better this week.

I seem to be making more UFO's, but I'm still resolved to finish some this month! :)

this evening on beginning to hem my 11 towels that were woven this past week. Initial zig zag is done and the towels cut apart ready to be hemmed. Woohoo - that will have to wait until tomorrow evening.

I've made a lot of progress on a UFO which wasn't in the box.  A large piece of writing for work that's taken about 12 months.  The first draft has been checked by a colleague, just a few changes to be made and it should be done.

I've done some weaving on the 4 shaft floor loom, not quite a 'dog on the loom' but close.  I've also put a new warp on the 8 shaft Toika

And the UFOs in the box - still there I'm afraid, perhaps next week

and the linen ones are currently in the washer -  I will wash the cotton ones separately -  am afraid the maroon might bleed! So eleven towels done . . .  yippee!

ETA - here are the linen towels - fresh out of the dryer

you did such a fine job on yours!  I am just making more UFO's.  I finished weaving a couple of bead leno scarves, so now those need fringe twisted and wet finishing.  Instead of doing that, I almost have finished dressing a loom with holiday waffle-weave towels.  That means that all I did was empty and fill a loom.  That sure is not getting my UFO pile finished.

but not that much! I find if I don't hem right after the towels are off the loom they languish in the UFO pile! What I hate to do is twist fringe!
