I have been plotting against my dining room  for quite a while, but I think my husband suspects what I mean to replace it with :)

I got rid of dining room table years ago, but I'm filling it up with other stuff, not looms. :D I have 3 spare rooms upstairs and one of them is deligated for this loom I'm building. I can tell ya one thing, this monster won't "walk" with each beat, nor will it sway or rack. :)

So i have a very small house with tiny rooms - house was built before 1890. the largest room in house is kitchen/dinning toom. so had to put large loom there as for other looms the whole house is turning into studio the tabletop is sitting on its stand right next to me inliving rooom where I have my work office set up. Ihave a tape loom and another very small loom that is sitting on the paino bench. The Dorest will go (i think) in the living room behind me. I do have a small room decidated to my stuff but no room for a working loom (thats where my sewing machine is stashed along with my stash) Heck even my bodyform is here in the living room Hubby just shakes his head when he goes by

I think they need their own support group, if they are not weavers themselves. It can't be easy living with someone with a hobby/obsession that takes up so much room.

Last time I mentioned getting a loom, my husband's comments was that "well, we still have rooms without looms in them!"   Now, if I could just get him to let me get rid of that baby grand piano that nobody uses any more!

My husband can't say much, I just remind him he bought the first loom totally unsolicited.  My rug stash is starting to overflow.

Me, well I answer to no one. LOL :D :D

well...... when he asked me how many looms do I need... I ask him back how many civil war reanacting jackets do you need? I at least use all my looms - you only use certain jackets 1 time a year - if that
