Is there any interest in doing a WAL on this book by Bonnie Inouye?  It recommends 12 shafts or about and most of the illustrations are in 16 shafts.  I have worked thru a bit of the book and am starting soon Any interest out there? Lois aka Fibernut        http://warpology.tripod.com/

Funny you should ask.  I was thinking it would be a great study group to go through her book.

Our guild had Bonnie for a workshop, and I posted my sampler under "projects" here at Weavoluton.

It is an EXCELLENT exercise. I used 12 shafts and got some wonderfully diverse results from just one warp.

You might want to post your WAL idea on some of the general forums to bring more folks over here to check it out?

While you are exploring Bonnie's book and the many amazing structures, how about adding enough for an extra scarf to donate to one of the charities we are hoping to help support? Think about it, I'll be posting about charity weaving in the next day.

I'm afraid I got sidetracked from this when "The Liftplan Connection" by Alice Schlein came out. I wove four towels,  two using  Bonnie's book and two from Alice's book. Pictures on the blog site: http://not-ufos.blogspot.com/

wow that pasted large! lol

I saw your towels on FB, they are lovely.  Have they made their way to your Projects on Weavolution?  I also like your business name, Warpology, very cool.

Thanks yes I posted a couple of pictures in my projects section on Weavolution.  Thanks I liked fibernut but it has been taken by so many that I needed something a bit more original. I've used the fibernut since the 90s must be some think that means dietary fiber but not in my case.
