This loopy scarf was made with handspun yarn and Harrisville wool. The warp was spaced out in the reed - 40 threads across 6.5 inches with many empty dents in the reed.
The handspun was loosely woven in with loops left at the edges in many places.
My hope was to highlight the handspun and play with felting.
All the spaces in the warp have virtually disappeared after washing & fulling. I haven't fully felted it yet - but am thinking about it.
