Prayer shawl

This was a costume item for a character costume based on one of my own written works: Argos the Weaver, who is in fact a white wolf. Somewhat elderly, with an aversion to fire, he likes to wear a blanket or shawl over his shoulders Indian fashion.

The yarns were old ones from my stash, from the time when Harrisville Shetland was a single rather than a plied yarn. When finished, the fabric showed some tracking effects that were not unattractive, but tended to conceal the original pattern. I think a tighter sett would have helped prevent that.
