Agarita - will it work? YES!

This is silk and wool dyed with agarita wood chips soaked in water.  They are displayed on the actual agarita bush!  Here is a link to my blog with more info and photos. Some of this silk went on to be part of a black dye experiment, I used madder, logwood and indigo dip to take it to black.  Well....actually it went to a silver dark pewter.  That will show up in a satin project that I will put up later.  In the meantime I plan to overdye some of the agarita wool with my Japanese Indigo and see what type of green I get!

ps, had to add 2 shafts to load project (really 2 buckets! - one for mordant and one for dyestuff)
