I'm relieved to see others looking for double heddle patterns - I was beginning to despair! Thanks everyone for pointing the way.

Hello I just joined this group. I am in Pueblo West CO. Have just learned and/or still learning to weave. I love it!!! I just got a drop spindle but haven't got started on "learning" that technique of spinning, use to do it years ago so am hoping it won't be too frustrating to pick back up again. I love the handspun yarns especially for weaving.

I am so glad  you started this group.I was waiting for it now the weavolution really got started.

My latest activity was to visit and meet Kim Cowley-Adams in France .We had great fun weaving together while she showed me some saori-technics.

and now we have this great place to share our weavings with the whole world

kind regards

Hi all.  As I figure out the workings of Weavolution, I have realized that there is a 'Forum' area where it looks like we can organize some topics.  I have put a Welcome topic on the forum list, so perhaps we can continue the discussion there!  Feel free to start a new Forum topic.

Happy Weaving,

Terri

Hi Jeannine!  I'm so glad that you got to meet Kim and do a workshop with her.  She was my introduction to Saori weaving too!

Happy Weaving,

Terri

That sounds quite interesting, I always warp front to back, what loom do you have that an exercise ball is the correct height for?

How are you expecting us to reference drafts that are in books?  For example, on the project page, there is a single field for draft.  I need to enter a book name, a page number, and a draft identifier if the draft is from a book.

I'm wondering...and maybe it's too much to ask...if it would be easier to have this section more than one field.

For example:

draft source...radio buttons or a drop down that allows: book, magazine, handweaving.net, my own design

then if any of the first three are selected...another field(s) that allow us to point specifically to the source

and if the last is selected, we get the option to load our own draft (as you currently have it)

Just some ideas.  Keep up the great work!
