I've had my Louet Megado for around 11 years. I bought it second hand though the first owner never took it out of the box so it was still 'new'. Last year I started experiencing some issues with the fans turning on and off and the solenoids double firing. Since it was a 90's version of the electronic interface, Louet is no longer servicing these old models. Yesterday the replacement V1 arrived. I set everything up and can finally finish this project.
Using 8/2 Tercel for this project, I dug through my design archive for something that would work with blue and silver. I don't have much left in preyed weaving yarns as I would like to move to solely hand dyed yarns so, the blue and silver gave me enough for a test run.
Looking back, I wish I would have used 30epi instead of 24. I find that the 8/2 tencel has a much better feel when woven at 30.
