Stroller Baby Blanket

This Stroller Baby Blanket is a collaboration between my friend Linda Rouse and myself. These patterns are from 16 Harness Patterns The Fanciest Twills of All From the Weaving Notebooks of Fred A. Pennington. ( Written and Compmiled by Irene K. Wood) These designs are called Hin und Weiber. They come mostly from Germany about the 1750-1850.You can find these these patterns on Handweaving.net. Other people in Europe wove them too. We had to redesign many of them because of the floats being rather long for baby blankets. However the flavor of the patterns were retained. The cotton was perle.
