yes, i know, YET ANOTHER DISH-TOWEL! ;)
they come in so damn handy though....
weaving with cottolins (sorry i have lost the color numbers), 2 greens & 2 "whites" (one is a natural, the other a bit of a sagey-off-white), and also using a bright gold-yellow pearl cotton.... warped 2 threads of each color (except the pearl-cotton, only one thread per dent)...
i was hoping to get a bit of a faux-houndstooth going in the green-leafy-sections there but i should have used greens that were further from each other (a brighter light-green)... i still like how it turned out though.... the yellow cotton are the only tabby-woven rows... all the rest are basket-weave....
it was a very short warp, i made 2 identical towels, 12 x 15 inches... only took so long to "finish" them because naughty me was procrastinating darning in ends, etc.. only took a couple days of lazy warping/weaving to actually make them...
