Oaks & Hickories 1

Here's an example of the variety one can get from hand-painted yarn.  The top scarf is Oaks & Hickories 1, about my fourth project, and the bottom is Oaks & Hickories 2. Both are hand-spun from Three Waters Farm BFL, Navajo-plied to keep the color changes. O&H1 is on brown cotton warp, while O&H2 is on orange Chinese lace-weight lambswool. Quite a difference, but I like them both.
