Vavstuga Swedish Summer Napkins Fringed

These cute little plain weave napkins are the companions to the pink and rose Swedish Summer Tablecloth.  The selvedge threading was created by spacing 8 warps ends 2.5 centimeters away from the edge on each side.  I carefully squarred off the napkins once they were off the loom by pulling out additional warp ends and then sewing a tiny zig-zag stitch around the entire edge.  I have plenty of the napkins and use them as breadcloths as well.  It took much longer to set up the loom and zig-zag stitch than to actually weave.  Isn't that usually the case?
