Hey all,

I'm about  to make some placemats in 10/2 cotton, rep weave, using mop cotton for thick weft and 20/2 cotton for thin weft.  Has anyone done warp rep with 10/2 cotton as warp?  What sett would you recommend?

I'd do a ruler wrap and whatever it comes out to for an inch is what I'd use as a starting point.

I haven't done rep but I do warp faced weaves all the time.  My 10/2 perle cotton gives me 43 wpi and I plan on 80epi for warp faced weave; 40 for the top layer and 40 more for the other shed.
