I just finished a small piece on my C-Cactusflower loom.  I call it The Social Dancers.  It's woven with Burnham's Trading Post Yarn in the #2 size and I hand dyed most of the colors.  The blues are indigo, the greens are osage orange overdyed with indigo, the pinks and reds are cochineal and the peach tones are madder or sandalwood over osage orange.   It takes me months to finish anything because of my job, so it's been on the loom since May.

It's beautiful!

Can you post some close up pictures? What are the dimensions?

Have a joyful day!

Your rug is stunning, moreso since you dyed the yarns yourself.  I particularly love that the figures are wearing garments that have weaving patterning -- weaving within a weaving has always fascinated me!

Thanks so much for posting it and for devoting your precious spare time to making such a lovely piece.

The colors are spectacular. Those peach tones are gorgeous and I love the mini rugs.

Your  rug is just gorgeous!  Working a job interferes with my fiber progress too.  It takes a long time to accomplish something when you have to work. You've created some beautiful dyes. Including the yarn you used, that really is beneficial too.
