Lunatic Yardage

I got a cone of some unmercerized cotton from the lunatic people... and wanted to see how it would look. It is a verigated yarn and it occured to me it might actually plaid all by its lonesome if I wove it. Right now I'm in the sampling stages. I have a second cone of a lighter version - same colors - and that looks nice in twill, plain weave I'm not so fond of though. Then a solid mercerized navy, which I am also not fond of. The best look so far is plain weave with the same yarn I have for warp. It does plaid lightly but twill makes it fade into the background. I'm not sure what style I'm going to use in the end.
