The cap sleeves were interesting to do.   I spent many hours draping the fabric over my dress form, figuring it out.  In the end it was a simple gathering of pleats on the edges of the fabric, creating the cap effect.   I like it because my goal is to do as little cutting of the fabric as possible.   The body shape was taken from an A-line pattern that I had.

This is the second thing that I made recently.   The front, back, and under arm inserts are purchased black velveteen.  It is fully lined.
