Here is the other exhibit for Complex Weavers. To enter this one, you need to join Complex Weavers (if you're not a member already!).
Weavers are invited to submit entries to “Complex Weavers: Glamour, Glitter, Glitz”, an international juried exhibit featuring works employing complex weave structures which interlace threads and fibers in ways beyond plain weave. There is no requirement that the piece must be woven on a designated number of shafts or on a multi-shaft or Jacquard loom. Materials and techniques chosen by the artist should connect with the theme of Glamour, Glitter, Glitz. Items with historic inspiration and interpretations are welcome.

Kaplan Gallery, VisArts Center, Rockville, MD, September 4-October 17, 2012
The jurors, Patrice George, Sandra Rude, and Bhakti Ziek, will evaluate images based on incorporation of the theme, originality and diversity of weave structure, technical excellence, aesthetics, and visual impact.
