**********UPDATE 6 Mar 10
It's off the loom, washed & trimmed. I'm really pleased with how the colours work. One thing I've realised on this project is how important the rolling of the paper is to how the final project comes off the loom. If a few warp threads fall off a layer of the paper as you're rolling it it creates a bow, or a pucker at about the mid-point. This works itself out in time once its off the loom (at least it does if you're using a soft wool - not sure about a silk, or a linen but I've no intention of finding out) but . .. it's irritating.
Now to pack it up, and send it off.

I'm not doing anything fancy on this project - just plain weave playing with colour variations. Warping was easy, nothing bizarre or unwieldy, I started weaving late this afternoon and its going smoothly. I'm looking forward to seeing how the colour variations play out. My aim is to be a bit free-form and qirky with this its meanf as a present for an equally quirky friend.
