Autumn Saori Wall Hanging

The yarns I used for this wall hanging were all from fibre I dyed and then spun. The blue and red were left overs from other projects The shades of orange were spun from a top that I dyed in a monochromatic colour scheme showing a saturated, tint, tone and greyed orange.

The colours of this weaving remind me of the view from the window of my studio. There is a forest across the road from our house and in the fall all of the colours in the weaving are reflected in the trees and the sky.
