These are really nice.  I believe I have this issue and am going to compare this pattern to the addendum for Laverne's book on Andean Pebble Weave.  I also have a BW so I am thinking about winding a quick warp and getting these cute bookmarks going.

Using #10 crochet cotton in navy and tan.  48 epi.  59 ends total, 2.5 yds. long.  Following pattern in Handwoven Magazine, Jan/Feb 2000 issue.  Aiming for five 8" long bookmarks.

9/21/10 -- After finishing the fourth bookmark, it would appear I'm going to have enough warp for more than five bookmarks.  NOTE:  There is an error in the draft in the mag.  Confirmed with Madelyn; as of yet, it is not in the errata pages on interweave.
