Well, I want to get the placemats warped this weekend and I seriously need to sample this one.  I have a draft (not posted yet) that also needs a little more work (see also the structo heddle conversation).  I'm sick to death of the silk on the WDL so may sample on that one but want to little warp waste as little as possible.

I love that we have tandem projects.  I may spur me on.

Just beginning this project.  It is a simple basket weave of mostly 20/2 mercerized cotton.  There will be shots of a light color and shots of a silk gima from Habu if the sample works.  I'm concerned about the effect of differential shrinkage.  I'll do the sample or samples and adjust as necessary.  The final yardage will be used for a blouse.  I haven't selected the final pattern for that either.
