These are spectacular. Oh, what amazing colors, these are fantastic. Both treadlings are equally beautiful.

What really lovely towels! I especially like the interplay of color and pattern in the taquete towels. Your colors a re the first thing you notice - joyous and happy. And then the pattern draws you in for a closer look. Terrific combination! Virginia

Everyone said it all! Nothing left to add — except I would love to be on your gift towel receiving list.

They really are something to be proud of. You did and excellent job. The colors bring life to the fabric. Very inspiring. :) I went to one of my books to look up the weave structure, and it can also be done on 4 shafts. Which makes me think of another double width project down the road.

Love these, the colours are gorgeous and the weave lovely (one I've yet to try!).

Notes

First time I have used taquete.  Used left over bits and bobs of 8/2 unmerc cotton.  4 towels were woven using taquete treadling, 3 towels were woven using plain weave - wanted to compared how the towels would look with each treadling.  Weft color was changed with each towel to bring out the different colors in the warp.  Fun project.
