Hi Ellen,

I just wrote a brief blog post that included many pdfs from the program I did for my guild on handwoven aprons.  The inspiration was an apron of my sister's that had an attached towel that you could change.  I thought it was perfect for hand weavers because you could button on a "working towel" while cooking and then switch to a "fancy towel" before serving.  All those lovely, fancy, handwoven towels in drawers could now be brought out with no danger from spaghetti sauce or chocolate sauce!  http://www.plainweave.net/Plain_Weave/Welcome.html

Thank you! I have just bookmarked that page and will enjoy exploring it soon!

Notes

I wove half the warp with one color weft and the other half in checks for reversible apron yardage.  I wove the inkle bands using the same warp yarn to use as the neck strap for the apron.
