That is really beautiful!  I've never worked with Tencel yarn.  Are there any special challenges with it?

You chose an overshot threading and have sampled the variation known as weaving on opposites. Did you sample other overshot methods? This one makes a weft-emphasis cloth and it is neat to see the warp color peeking through in this sample. It looks good.

Are you planning to weave a scarf on this warp or perhaps a runner? Tencel is a kind of rayon. It does not bloom when washed, so I use a closer sett than I would with cotton of the same size. It feels good and drapes well in general, but weave structure also has a big impact on drape. Weft-emphasis cloth would be appropriate (flat and protective) on a table and not great for a scarf. I think this will be clear if you sample several methods on the same warp and cut them off and finish them.

Tencel is very strong and durable, with a nice sheen. It is very easy to work with. The warp threads do not stick together as silk sometimes does.

Decided to make this sample into coasters, and just for fun used six different patterns from the same warp. Its fun to have my weaving projects all over the house - even under my coffee cup.
