Shhh! Keep it hush-hush on the washing/linen abuse, and don't tell Kati Meek!

Very nice scarf. I like the colour of the beads with the colour of the yarn. Lovely.

Notes

Note that length on loom includes samples. I also overcompensated for loom waste; I probably won't use up the entire warp.

This scarf comes out of MPD's A Handweaver's Pattern Book, page 96 (Lace stripes I), and had the added inspiration of beads from an article on Weavezine.

Note 1: the lace bits definitely lost a lot of tension during the weaving. Next time, use supplemental warping board to keep the different tensions sorted out.

Note 2: the tabby is a balanced weave, but is after first wash still fairly harsh to the hand. Just how linen is, but it'll need a bit more washing abuse before it becomes the soft linen folks know and love. I hope.
