What do you folks use for shuttles?  Do you use the stick shuttles that came with the Harp, or have you purchased some of the nifty ones out there?  I know some of them are too big for the narrow shed on a RH, but I'm eyeballing some of the smaller ones.

Hi Stephanie

I bought one of the small Schacht shuttles and just finished making a scarf on my Kromski with it and it was perfect.  I really like it, much better than the stick shuttle.  The scarf was quick to weave and the shuttle fit perfectly through the shed.

I use the stick shuttles that came with my looms because I use a lot of my hand spun yarn. But I was thinking of getting a slim boat shuttle to use with something like a 5/2 cotton. Doreen

Thanks, Ladies!  I just bought one of the poke shuttles from the Woolery.  I thought, since its only 1/2 high, it ought to work, but wanted independant verification!

Haven't had a chance to use it yet!  I'm using a pretty hefty weft on my current project (peaches and cream cotton yarn), so I'm rushing to finish those towels up so I can try it out.  As soon as I'm done, I'll post a report here!
