Rag rug/table toppers

I purchased Tom Knisely's Rag Rugs book and used the Chicken Tracks draft on pg 108 for both of these projects.

Used 8/4 carpet warp in 2 colors that would work for 2 different rugs. Picked up the cotton fabrics at  a local quilting store from the 50% off rack to supplement my quilting cottons stash. Used 8 yards of fabric for both rugs. Finished the ends by sewing on a strip of cotton and sewing it as a hem.
