Hi All,

I just purchased a B4 D 1953, 48” 8 harness (capacity 10 I think) with a sectional beam.  I believe it was built in 1976.  Since the previous owner was only using two of the harnesses most of the treadle hooks are missing. I looked at the Macomber site and saw the super hooks.  Will these fit my loom?  How many should I order to replace all of them?  I am excited to get started.

Thanks for the help.

I am thinking this looms has holes in the lamms. If so you need to use the old style hooks. How many is a good question. A lot depends on what drafts you are going to be working with. For taby you will need 4 for each of the first 2 treadles. Then I would go with 4 for each of the other 8 treadles so to start I would say 40. I think they now cost $1.25 each. You can convert this sectional beam to a large plain beam by removing the pins.

Does your loom have a lamm depressor? Picture below.
