Results = 5Y 8/14

My hue and values are correct - if i add navy to help lower the chroma, won't my hue change? It's touchy because it's mainly sun yellow. Can you please help me through this thought process?

I wound up adding a little National Blue to lower the chroma.  Look at my trials and see if you think this would work for your substrate.  I wanted a gentler dye than the navy, but the navy may work, too, at a lower percentage.

So you have to go to a 3rd color, and Navy and National blue are similar choices.  If you use navy be sure to dilute it twice to 0.02% stock and use very little, like 0.01%just to dull and hopefully not change anything else.

Sorry about the rearranging, I'll work on a copy.  What I wanted you to see was for example the blue and turq mix did give you 5B not far from what your looking for so if you put that trial in the blues it becomes  useful information.

ok thanks - i did it again last night, but realized this morning that yellow is going to tap out ... it was good for me to see that... i will ad a twice diluted blue next time around. 5 down, 5 to go!
