Just a couple more weeks and I'll be weaving out at L'ans aux meadows, Newfoundland where the vikings first settled in north america.
It's the 50th anniversary of the site's discovery, so a group of us are putting on some special demonstrations - tablet weaving and glass bead making for myself, but others will be working on a warp weighted loom and drop spinning.
