Thankfully this a leap year, because I just finished my heart inkle band project. I made bookmarks. It wasn't until I went back and reread the thread that I realized you said you were intending to do the same, [email protected]. Great minds? The hearts are made on a simple 5 pattern pick-up threading. My 5 year old says they look like sharp hearts.

Great to have you back!  If you e-mail picture to me at [email protected] I will try to post the picture for you.  I have been planning a last entry award and you are definitely in the running for that whether or not we can oogle over it before awards tomorrow.

My weaving time has gone to the group rather than the loom this month so you have created The Bookmark.

It took me a bit, but I figured it out. Pictures posted!

Oh, you didn't even get to weave?! Well, thank you for giving us your time!

Inkledpink, your bookmark is gorgeous!!! Love the simple heart design and color. It sets it off and compliments each other perfectly. They do look like "sharp hearts" as your 5 yr old put it. :)

I also wanted to tell you I love your avatar. I think it is adorable! <3

Indiepink, your bookmarks are wonderful! I love them with the round MOP dangles too! These would make awesome bracelets...I feel more inspiration coming, LOL.

Francine, you have done such a great job this month! Thank you again!!

So many wonderful projects and inspiration!

I'm tickled pink to have won a gift certificate from Halcyon...I've been drooling over their yarns and would love suggestions from those who have used it before.

Have a great "leap day" everyone!

This is awesome! Thank you! I didn't even know there were prizes. Especially for sliding in to home plate. Getting in just under the wire doesn't usually net much. This was a really fun challenge. After I read the challenge back in the beginning of February I wove a "uh-yeah, that didn't work" band, then at end I was able to get the bookmarks done.

Congratulations to all the other winners. Smile

I'm not much of a fan of fringe, so the dangles were my answer to no fringe! Hmmm, they would make awesome bracelets! Do post if you make some!

bolivian warmi

Thank you for the comments on my project. Some people see those motifs as hearts. They are actually two Andean hooks facing each other.

EDITED...While writing this reply my slow internet was stryng to load the last bunch of comments and pictures and I didn't see the comments about prizes etc. Thanks for the tote bag.

Queezle

Checking back in after an intense work period.  I am hoping March is better.  I am so impressed at all the activity here.  You guys are amazing.
