Where you can buy one of those ergonomic weaving chairs?  I really would like plans for one, but I'm sure it would have to be bought already built if it is available at all.

Do you mean the ones designed by Synergo Arts? Why not write to them...can't hurt to ask.

I will do that.  Just thought I would ask here first.  I am sitting on a little footstool now.  It is alot easier on this ol body of mine.  I get very stiff after sitting on the floor a very short time.  Sitting on the footstool with a couple of towels for more padding seem to help a lot.

I talked to the woman there recently, also looking for an alternative since sitting on the floor is not an option for me, and she was nice but not helpful.  It says on the website that the plans are in the public domain but she said the engineering was tricky and didn't think that I could get one built.  I'm not sure why she was so discouraging-- she didn't want to share or it is truely difficult.  If it is that difficult to build I'm not sure it will help the weavers in Guatamala.    Anyhow I gave up and went another route.

I got an e-mail response from probably the same woman.  Said she would like to talk to me on the phone when she gets back to the states.  We shall see. Not sure why she wants to talk to me.

I will say that I am pretty good at coming up with my own things, if I have something to go by.  By  looking at the picture, I think I can come up with something.  It may not be exactly the same, but I think I can make it work.  I'll keep you posted on what I come up with.  If I can find the time, I think this may have just given me the challenge.
