Two months down in the year. Mentally I am still back in January! I haven't been posting much but I have been lurking and reading your poasts and enjoying seeing all the projects and activities you are participating in. Keep posting projects and travels so those of us who are having trouble getting to the llom can experience weaving vicariously. Weave on all!

Just finished up this 3 panel bed spread in M's and O's weave structure. One panel did not match as well as the other 2, but on the bed it is not even noticeable. The joins help in that to. I think it is the best bedspread I have ever wove even if the panels are not perfectly matched. Of course the goal is to match them as well as possible. But as far as design, texture and feel of the cloth, it's a winner. I like this structure a lot, and so simple. 10/2 warp, 5/2 weft.  I think it only shrunk 10 % each way, which was quite amazing with those pattern floats. It's huge on my little twin sized bed. Love it. It is for summer, but I skipped spring. :D

There are 4 blocks and a true plain weave selvedge. This is blooming leaf of overshot fame, with a little modification to fit my project size. I have developed an 8 shaft tie up for any 2/2   4 shaft profile design. I'm sure I'm not the first, but it's not in any book I have seen.

Did you hear about this coverlet project and upcoming exhibit? I wonder if your piece would fit the criteria?

Only if you could bear to part with it for an exhibition over the summer months, that is...Wink

I live too far from all the action up here on the glacier fields of the Atlantic shore. :D
