The technique of this Boulevard weave of William Bateman I found in the "8 shaft patterns" book by Carol Strickler. I made some changes to the design in the book to meet my requirements. The cushion is meant for an old chair, which my father bought for my mother prior to their wedding back in 1933. The quares in linen of the cushion cover resemble the woven cane of the chair. The warp and tabby of the weft is natural tweed wool. The pattern weft is linen in white, off-white, grey and mustard.

NOTE: Somehow the use of tabby all along does not show in the WIF file !!
