Four of us (all teachers) get together each summer to sit by the pool, eat, drink, and talk. Every year, as I pack up my contributions, I think, "I should have made something to commemorate our summer get-togethers". This year, I'm doing it! I used the photo of the blanketflowers (Gaillardia) as inspiration for the dye formulas.
