I am going through the drafts folder and found a beautiful baby blanket. I downloaded the wif file but i dont know how to get into my iweavit software on my ipad. Thank you for the help. Diane
Please weavolution, make it possible to download drafts to an iPad. They will only download as a text file not as a Full attachment. Hand weaving.net does it. Maybe with this new server it can be changed. Thanks.
I cant get this draft out of my mind. Unfortunately i dont have a 16 shaft loom. How would i change it to 8 if at all possible. I have iweave it and wif n proof. Will these do it for me. If so how. Thanks. Have new babies in the family and would love to weave this. Hugs. Diane
I use iWeaveIt and tried to open the Link you posted and couldn't open It with I weave it either. I usually open .wif files by sending them to my iPad from my computer via Dropbox and it works just fine. I went to the hand weaving.net site to see if i could open thrir .wif files on my iPad with iWeaveIt. I chose a draft from the site, and selected the option to download the tie up, and my iPad automatically gave me the option to open it in iWeaveIt without any problem. Hope this helps. I truly love using iWeaveIt, and hope you can make it work for you. Message me back if you need more help. Janene
I'm replying to my own comment because I realize that I too can not figure out how to open iWeaveIt files from weavolution (which I now am realizing was the original point of this message thread). Janene
There is a way to open wif files in iWeaveit for iPad - albeit round about. 1. Go to the wif file and click on it, and a text file opens 2. Highlight the entire text file (in my case IHave to scroll until the entire screen turns blue 3. Copy the text 4. Go out of your browser (Safari) and into iWeaveit 5. In the opened weave it program go to the top right hand corner and click on the window you would choose to save a draft you may have created on previous occasions. A menu appears . 6. Choose from the above menu, import from text and a blank box will appear 7. Paste onto this box the text which is still in your clipboard when you copied the wif file text 8. Click load file from text And there you have it! Now you need to save it as per usual
