I just found http://www.weavinglibrary.com/ - a site created by a French textile engineer "in remembrance of Gabriel Vial [...] of Musée des tissus de Lyon".

There is lots of information, geared both towards industry and handweavers, has several books not found in the Griswold archives. (Unfortunately, the books are not downloadable as such - pages are presented as .jpg that have to be saved individually. (I *hope* I'm wrong here, but I could not find a better way)

Very interesting.

The books are available for PAID download. Click around on the left hand column and a shopping card in a pink box appears - click on that the the price in Euros appears.
