Painted warp

Here I am trying my hand at painting a warp. I used a stencil from the craft store and Jacquard textile paints. The sett is a little loose for me, I should have used the 3/2 for warp as well, but live and learn..I wasn't sure if the rose would show well but I am happy with it. Not sure how I will finish the ends, I did hem stitch the beginning so I'll at least do that for the end as well. As a beginner it is very exciting to see the weaving grow on the loom, even if the sett isn't exactly right.
