I bought a Lillqvist loom last week from someone who knew next to nothing about weaving. There is no assembly diagram and I have never seen a Lillqvist before. It has 10 treadles and CM so it is a pretty fancy loom. I would love to get in touch with a mentor I could consult with while I try to set it up.

Interesting - I just saw an ad that sounds almost like this -last week, in fact. The (small) pic made me think "generic...", bur, as Idid not pursue -

Where are you? Could it be the same loom? (I'm in Kronoberg, outside Växjö)

I live on Gotland. The loom was in Stockholm, Rågsved. I thought I recognized your name. Did I meet you in Haninge several years ago, perhaps before I remarried and changed my name. Deborah Stålek now, was Bergqvist.

I bought a countermarche as a pile of parts. The Big Book of Weaving by Laila Lundell or Stora Vavboken has been indespensible in assemling and getting started with it. It is out of print here in the states. But, I was able to preorder a copy and borrow it from the library.
