I just ordered my 24" 8 harness Baby Mac last week. I've been weaving on a Glimakra countermarche for the past couple years and wanted a small loom for workshops and small projects.

Once I receive my loom (6-8 weeks), I'm sure I'll have lot's of questions!

Hi Morganne, welcome to the Macomber Group.  We're glad you joined us.  The Baby Mac is a super little jack loom that packs a lot of capability into a tiny package.  It might take some getting used to after the countermarche, but it's a lot simpler and should be very intuitive. Can't wait to see your first project!          DRW

8 of my looms are big Macombers floor looms....looooooove them! When I taught at my little weaving school in San Antonio TX, I relied on the little Macombers there and moved them with me to NM....they are good little "workhorses", fold up nicely for travel to workshops or when not in use and they don't take much energy to weave on them! Ask away...there's a lot of knowledgeable Macomber people here!
